Eid-el-Fitri Tragedy: Vehicle plunges Off Third Main Bridge Into The Lagoon.

Tragedy on the newly rehalibilated Third Main Bridge on Wednesday when a vehicle plunged into the Lagos lagoon with an unspecified number of person's feared dead.

This happened on the day of Eid-el-fitri,when muslim celebrated end of Ramadan.

According to an eye witness, simply identified as Akinola Adeniyi, the tragedy occurred around 11:00 am,

when yet to be ascertained verhicle en route iyana Oworo to island route suddenly plunged into the Lagoon.

The eye witness also ascertained that the vehicle was in high speed.

Rescue team, including men of LESEMA and police, among others who arrived in rescue team.

The incident cause a traffic jam at Mainland Bridge towards the Island.
